"Brian," I said, "the intro to this song is too long. Can't you make it shorter?" The answer was "No." We are congenitally incapable of making songs shorter here at Wrong Side of Dawn. Whenever we try to rewrite songs to be shorter, we just end up making them awesomer instead. The problem with a long song isn't that it is long, but that certain parts may be too boring or repetitive: you want to cut out the filler. There is no filler left in this song, but it's just as long as it was when we started.
I'm OK with that. --Nelson
lyrics
I take so much, but do not overestimate.
Just 'cause I say I tolerate,
Well, that don't mean it please me.
It should only be so easy.
[chorus]:
(Warning.) Hello, and good morning.
I fear that this is your very last warning.
I'm very impatient. You're very boring.
(Warning.) Hello, and good morning.
